If a person is applying for a grant of assistance with the assistance of a lawyer, the lawyer must submit the application in ATLAS.

We recognise that clients have many preferences for communication. Consent for Centrelink records can be provided by telephone. Practitioners must keep a complete record on how verbal consent was obtained. The file note also contains authorisation for practitioners to lodge client applications through Victoria Legal Aid's ATLAS grants management system.
